Wednesday Blitz

Wednesday is designated as tournament day for the Pendleton Men’s Golf Association.  Essentially, the course is closed to all other patrons and guests during the times designated.  There will be starting times posted for all PMGA members, unless a special tournament warrants a shotgun start.

 It is the member’s responsibility to participate in the Men’s Day Blitz; a portion of the blitz money is deposited in the PMGA funds, which helps defray the expenditures for our tournaments.  The fee for being a participant in the Blitz is $1.00 to $7.00, depending on which part of the blitz you wish to participate.

Pairing and tee times will be posted for Men’s day from effective February 1, 2012.  Shotgun starts during the winter months has been discontinued.

 Conditions of Competition

 PLAY IS GOVERNED BY USGA “THE RULES OF GOLF” AND THE PMGA LOCAL RULES.

 In all Men’s Day Blitz and Tournaments, unless posted and instructed otherwise; the ball shall be played “AS IT LIES’.  The weather, construction, maintenance, etc., does require temporary modification of the rules occasionally.

 YOU ARE URGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MEN’S DAY BLITZ AND PMGA TOURNAMENTS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.
