HOLE-IN-ONE INSURANCE

1. All PMGA members are automatically covered by Hole-in-One Insurance.

2. The purpose of this Insurance is to pay the beverage bill ($100.00 maximum), when a PMGA member scores a Hole-in-One during a regular round of golf at the Marine Memorial Golf Course, on any day that the Course is open for regular play and a hospitality facility (Mulligan’s and/or Eagle’s Landing) is open for business. This Insurance is valid only on days that the Golf Course and a hospitality facility are both open for business. A “regular round of golf” is defined as a stipulated round of 9 or 18 holes, unless shortened due to dangerous or inclement weather, and includes tournaments sponsored by the PMGA and other activities in which PMGA Members participate.

3. Eligibility: The name of the member scoring the Hole-in-One must appear on the SCGA Handicap print-out for the current month in which the Hole-in-One is scored. In the case of new members or late renewals, annual dues must have been paid prior to the Hole-in-One being scored.

4. The following procedures apply:

A. The Hole-in-One must be witnessed by another player in the same group. A Hole-in-One scored by a single player will not be accepted.

B. The Score Card:

(1) Must contain clear, legible signatures and the SCGA member numbers of the achieving member and witness(es).

(2) Must contain complete hole-by-hole scores for each member of the group.

(3) Must have the score on the Hole-in-One hole circled.

(4) Must be delivered to a member of the PMGA Executive Board or deposited in the mail slot outside the PMGA Office. A duplicate copy, authenticated by all witnesses and the achieving member should promptly be delivered to the Director of Golf or a member of his staff at the Golf Shop.

C. The achieving member may open a beverage tab in Mulligan’s or Eagle’s Landing only on the day the Hole-in-One is scored. The event may not be celebrated on any other day at the expense of the PMGA.

D. PMGA members and guest (s) playing with the achieving member or in the same event on the day the Hole-in-One is scored will be eligible to participate in the refreshments.

E. A one-drink-only-per-person limit (no carryout’s) for those eligible will be observed. No double or combinations are authorized.

5. When the achieving member leaves; he will close the bar, verify and sign the beverage tab. If the achieving member is required to depart early, prior to his departure he must notify the server which member will act in his behalf to close the tab. The member so designated will close and sign the tab when he leaves or when the $100.00 (including gratuity) limit has been reached. Under no circumstances will the tab exceed $100.00.

A. In the event the achieving member departs without closing the tab or designating an alternate member, the tab will be closed by the server.

B. An achieving member will be required to produce his PMGA Handicap Card for verification of eligibility when requested by the server.

C. The finalized beverage bill will be submitted by the Marine Memorial Golf Course Food and Beverage Manager (or representative) for payment to the Treasurer, PMGA or any member of the PMGA Executive Board.

6. An individual trophy and certificate will be presented to each PMGA member achieving a Hole-in-One. The presentation will be made by the PMGA President or his designated representative.
